Marco Island....The Pool

Day One
The Kids are ready for the pool!

The boys enjoyed throwing any kind of ball to each other.

There was time to float and relax

There was time to jump and splash!

There was even time to learn

It was seven fun days of swimming after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Our kids had a wonderful time swimming.  It is probably their favorite part of our week at the beach.

Marco Island 2014 Part 1

We left our house for the beach at 4:00am on Saturday morning.  Despite the early departure, our kids were wide eyed and excited!

Our trip to Marco Island is about 11 hours. We broke the trip up and stopped for breakfast and again for lunch to get the kids out of the car for a bit.
Luke didn't eat all his breakfast, so we brought it along to keep him occupied down the road.

At lunch time, we stopped in Brandon, Florida to pick up Emily and Andrew who had spent two weeks in Brett's parents in Orlando.

After lunch with Brett's parents and great-grandma, we loaded up and made the final leg of our trip south to Marco Island.

Home sweet home for the next seven days!

Summer Fun

It is hot this week in Georgia.  Everyday this week it has been 90 degrees or hotter.  So what could be more fun than water play on a hot summer day!

"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again.  The water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
