Our life has gotten so busy now that we are homeschooling, that blogging has taken a back seat. I still want to record our life and have it to look back on in the years to come, so I will have to get better about finding the time to document and post on our blog.
At any rate, here is our October all wrapped up in one big blog post.
Our #83
Sophomore year- JV/Varsity Football
Oconee County High School Warriors
We are extremely Proud of Jake. He balances a tough schedule with long school days and football practice/games throughout the fall. He continues his workout schedule throughout the spring and summer preparing for the next season. The warriors have faced some tough opponents this season, but continue to stick with it and practice hard.
Matt and Emily finished their second season of soccer. Both had awesome teams this fall with great coaches and sweet friends.
The boys were blessed again this year to attend 2 Clemson football games with Brett's boss Dean. He allows the boys to pick the two games they want to go to. They asked to go to the Clemson/Florida State game. The game as it turned out was the COLLEGE GAME OF THE WEEK, SO GAME DAY WAS THERE!
It was quite a long day, but Matthew didn't care! They left our house at around 8:00am and didn't get home until after 2:30am that night.
They even ran into our favorite babysitter...Amanda (a Clemson graduate)
The tiger walk is Matthew's favorite. The crowd doesn't scare him away. He gets right to the front so that he can touch the players as they walk through.
Unfortunately, the undefeated Tigers lost to the FS Seminoles, but the boys still had a great time. We are grateful that Brett works with such giving individuals who value family and take the time to build relationships that go beyond the office.
I just love this sweet picture of our girls. They were celebrating the end of Emily's soccer season with a pizza party! We are definitely biased, but our girls are 3 of the sweetest blessings. I pray they will stay close and treasure the gift God has given them of their sisters.

Thankful Journal
For the incredible bible study I am in this year and the women who are faithfully demonstrating God's love each week to me and my family.
For my husband who always picks up where I leave off, from cooking, to cleaning, to laundry, to keeping up with the kids. I am blessed!
For saying yes to homeschooling this year. It is hard, it is frustrating, but it is the most rewarding journey I have taken.
For winter foods...chili/chicken chili/hot chocolate
