Happy Anniversary Grandpa and Grandma

Happy 43rd Anniversary Grandpa and Grandma!
We Love You!

"Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered,
   two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Easter Morning

Easter Morning

Pictures taken before we left for church
The sun was in their eyes!
Nick was missing because he went with Ronnie, Leslie, and Brock who left a bit early for church so they could stop at Starbucks.

Second attempt with about the same result.  It is very hard to get a picture with all the kids looking at the camera, and smiling.

"And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name."
Romans 1:4-5

Easter 2012

We had a beautiful Easter weekend in Georgia.  Brett's sister, brother-in-law, and nephew came to visit and share the holiday with us.  We enjoyed dying Easter eggs, playing outdoors, an egg hunt, and celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus on Easter morning.
Saturday morning, I ventured to Walmart (solo) to do our grocery shopping and Daddy bravely took all the kids to Sam's club to pick up the items we needed.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather during the afternoon relaxing on the deck.
Emily and Kate looking at their caterpillars.
The beautiful weather allowed us the opportunity to dye Easter eggs on the deck without the worry of spilling on the carpet!

"He told them, This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."
Luke 24:46-47
